About Our Training
At Arizona Actors Academy, acting training is treated as both a serious craft and a deeply human pursuit. Based in Phoenix and led by Brandy Hotchner, the studio offers conservatory-level training in a welcoming, adult-focused environment where beginners and experienced actors work side by side to develop truthful, grounded performances for stage and screen. Rooted in the Stanislavski System and influenced by Method, Meisner, Shakespeare, improv, and ensemble-based training, AZAA emphasizes presence, imagination, emotional honesty, discipline, and creative courage. More than just a place to take acting classes, the academy has built a reputation as a genuine artistic community; one where people reconnect to their creativity, challenge themselves, and grow not only as actors, but as people.
