I wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed my classes. I came in blind with no idea what to expect and no background and it’s been both fun and extremely helpful.
I look forward to my class each week and I get something new out of each one. Rachel has done an amazing job and the school in general, with the learning opportunities and structure of the classes, is something I’m very grateful for finding. This is exactly what I needed. So I just wanted to let you guys know that and to say thank you.
Thank you again

I’ve got the last performance of my first play in a few hours. The experience has been absolutely incredible and I’m so glad I finally went ‘out into the world.’ In doing so, I realized just how insanely much I have learned – how insanely much you have all taught me! I cannot express how grateful I am to be with AZAA. The level of training I have received over the last couple of years shows so clearly in this context and I am so proud to be able to do my first show and feel so prepared for it. Thank you thank you thank you! I knew I was learning, I knew I was developing as an actor, but I did not realize quite how much until going through this show process.
Thank you for the unrivaled preparation and confidence you’ve all helped me with. It’s the only reason I can even be where I am now.

Brandy Hotchner is a gift to the state of Arizona. The program that she has built is dedicated to the growth of every actor and non actor that walks through her doors. Brandy instills confidence into every actor she works with and graduating this program will raise you to a level unthinkable and allow you to be competitive in any market (LA, NY, UK). Even if you are a little bit curious about acting and what is required of an actor, I recommend you audit one of her classes. You will not find the magic you find here anywhere else.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is not just a school for acting it is a community of artists who support each other through their journeys. Brandy is an amazing coach that cares so much for each student and provides such individualized feedback and coaches each student to his/her own skill level and personality! Jacque is great fun in improv and Rachel is a great voice coach. I am so lucky to have found AZAA.

Undeniably the most valuable investment I’ve made toward improving my craft.  Brandy encourages me to search with a fierce hunger for the truth in who my character is in each and every project I take on.  Articulate and direct, Brandy NEVER leaves ‘well enough’ alone.  She is like a mother, a friend and a drill sergeant wrapped all in one.

Never thought I would move to Hollywood to give it a go. Brandy helped me build the skills I needed from the ground up. She’s building better actors.

The acting bug bit me relatively later than most; so, starting out was a bit of a challenge. I was filled with doubt and lacking fundamental technique. Brandy was invaluable in me finding my artist, and also gaining confidence in my work. The amount of individual focus given to each actor is unbelievable. In my two years with the full program I have seen incredible growth of my fellow classmates as well. I can’t honestly fully understand how she coaxes the potential out of her students, but I can attest that it does work if given time and effort by the student. To think in two years I went from being frightened of moving to L.A. to being thrilled is incredible. Best decision I had made as an actor! I truly hope if you are reading this you give yourself the gift of at least auditing a few classes.

Brandy is phenomenal! She gets to know each actors strengths, weaknesses and goals and pushes them to their limits of truth within the character. Here I’ve learned acting is so much more than performance and emotion. If you’re serious about acting look no further.

Arizona Actors Academy led by Brandy Hotchner is the only acting school in Arizona that can call itself an acting school. What Brandy has taught me, what her program has given me is something I could never be able to pay back but hope to impart on others in the future. The community she has built is nothing short of amazing and I sincerely wish that everybody could join her classes.

Brandy Hotchner has helped give me the tools to become a more honest and emotionally connected artist, and helped bring my confidence as an actor to a place where I am able to audition and work on a professional level. She is the kind of teacher who cares very deeply about her students, and is always there to mentor and guide you through your challenges as an actor. I am very grateful to her because I wouldn’t be the actor I am today without her. In my opinion, Brandy Hotchner is the best acting teacher in Phoenix.
