Acting Foundations and Improv Mechanics are both semi-participatory audits. All other classes you may be invited to warm-up with the class and then asked to observe the exercises and working actors. Auditing an advanced class would be useful if you wish to pursue approval into a class or wish to see growth potential from our program.

Terms:

Improv Mechanics is a three month progressive training module.
Enjoy $100.00/00 with your two month Acting Foundations enrollment, a $50.00 monthly discount.
Your third month of Improv we will extend our added class discount of $150.00. A $75.00 savings if you are taking as a single class.
Continuing ongoing after the first three month module as a single class will reset your tuition to the full $225/monthly.
Pursuing continuing training in our ongoing Acting programs you will receive the $150.00/ monthly added class tuition.
Students are expected to commit to the three month module, however, our ongoing withdrawal policies apply.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
- In order to withdraw from class without penalty, a 30 day notice of withdrawal should be submitted through our online Add/Change form.
- If you withdraw within 30 days of the next billing period, you will be automatically charged 50% of your tuition cost.
- This charge can be credited towards your return enrollment.
- All new students will receive a 60 day grace period for withdrawal.

This class is a three month commitment, and requires a minimum of 1 to 1.5 hrs of rehearsal time outside of class. This class is not intended for beginning actors. *

If you are a beginning actor, it is recommended that you complete our acting foundations class and some Acting Technique before pursuing Meisner focus.

This class is a three month commitment and the course is a 12 week progressive curriculum in improv skills. Tuition is billed monthly. Students will be automatically enrolled in ongoing until they withdrawal. *

This class is coached at a high level of performance. Students are required to have 9 months of improv training or equivelant and should be ready to dive in. If you need improv basics, we recommend Improv Mechanics first. *

Terms and Conditions Of Acting Foundations

You are enrolling into our eight-week Acting Foundations. Make sure you read all of our Terms and Conditions regarding your enrollment so you understand fully what policies and potential penalties you are agreeing to.

REGISTRATION | ENROLLMENT

You are required to complete the form and signify your agreement to Payment Policies, Waiver of Liability and class Code of Conduct.
A minimum $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required upon registration to confirm your enrollment.
Any remaining tuition balance will be invoiced via email within two business days (all credits applied).
Enrollment is for an eight-week rotation of our Acting Foundations course.
Tuition is $450.00 in total for the course, which can be broken up into two payments of $225.00.
If you fulfilled an audit class your $25.00 fee will be credited toward’s your eight week tuition.
All our communications are via email. It is important that you maintain contact.
- An active email address is necessary for you to receive your monthly billing invoices, tuition reminders and updates.
- Please notify us of any changes in contact information.

TUITION | INVOICING PLAN

A full tuition payment of $225.00 is required to start your class.
Digital invoices will be emailed for balance due and are easily paid at your own convenience.
Tuition must be paid using ACH bank transfer or credit/debit card payment upon receipt of invoice on, or before the 1st & 5th weeks of your class.
- ACH Bank Transfer preferred.
All tuition paid is non-refundable.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS

If you chose auto billing, you will still receive an invoice for review and last minute changes. Your payment will process on the 1st & 5th weeks for you without penalty. If you need to withdraw from the automatic invoicing plan, an online withdrawal/change of payment option must be received before your due date.
We do not collect payment info from your online payments. We will contact you via phone to transfer your information directly into our secure payment system. We do not hold any paper or digital record of your payment info.

DECLINED & LATE PAYMENT FEES

Students will incur a $5 late fee if invoice isn't paid on the due date.
If tuition is still unpaid after three days and no communication is discussed for late payment, student will be automatically withdrawn.
Student will be responsible for all fees charged for declined payments.

REFUNDS & PRO-RATING TUITION

Tuition is not pro-rated, refunded or discounted for classes missed, or when dropping from a class.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Students can withdraw anytime and stop further billing. However, all tuition payments made are non-refundable.

RE-ENROLLMENT

If you have to temporarily withdraw, you will be able to set up an automatic return to classes.
You can re-enroll as a return student anytime and pick up where you left off.
Any credit you may have from a withdrawal penalty will be applied to your return tuition.

INCLEMENT WEATHER OR INSTRUCTOR EMERGENCY

In the event of inclement weather or emergency, we will send email notifications if classes are cancelled.
Any cancelled classes will be offered a make-up class with ample time to adjust your schedule.
If you are unable to attend a make-up class, AZAA cannot refund the original class. Please make every effort to attend the make-up class.

CLASS ETIQUETTE AND ETHICS:
• Cell phones should be turned off or switched to silence when entering the classroom. Please save any calls or texting for breaks. If you have a special situation such as a sick relative or work crisis and need to check your phone, let your instructor know before class starts.
• Absolutely no picture taking during class without express permission and a photo release.
• What goes on in class stays in class. To take creative risks, actors must feel safe. Respect the actors working and their privacy.
• No eating while actors are working.
• Be respectful and quiet while other actors are working. One of the best ways to learn is from watching others!

• The choice to wear a mask or not is up to each individual.

Policies for Participating in Virtual Classes:

No refunds for missed online-classes.
Links are sent out manually (this process is NOT automated through our current system) via email about one day before the first class or the morning of your class. You are responsible for checking your email for your link.
When using an interactive platform, like Zoom, the video and audio from all participants is shared and may be captured if a class is being recorded. While we usually try to only record the view of the “presenter”, you are responsible for muting your own microphone and camera.
Each participant must register for a free user account with Zoom, if you do not already have one.
Use the registration link or meeting ID sent via email before each class prepared to sign-in with Name, Email and Validation Question(s) and/or Password (if applicable) before gaining access to the live class
DO NOT SHARE links to live video classes OR recorded videos with anyone outside your immediate household
For your own privacy, YOU can always mute and turn off your video feed at any time throughout the class
BY PARTICIPATING IN A VIRTUAL CLASS AT ARIZONA ACTORS ACADEMY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE the live and captured (if recorded) video and audio during the class may include you or your child’s voice, face, and background which may be shared with other registered participants in this class
ARIZONA ACTORS ACADEMY reserves the right to download and store the original file and may take snippets for promotional use.

Other Helpful Tips:

Find a dedicated quiet space without minimal distractions to attend your class. Plan your space to allow for movement.
Have headphones on hand to avoid any audio feedback challenges and minimize ambient noise from your location.
Please aim to sign in about 15 minutes in advance (especially for the first class)
If you join before we do you should see a message that you are waiting for the host to start the meeting
If you can’t make it or have trouble and need to take a break or stop, no worries… feel free to join back in when/if you can. Private message your instructor in your class.
Keep in mind that ambient noise and voices in your home can be heard by other participants and may be captured on the audio of the recording
You may not be able to join the class after it begins. If you are joining the class late, make arrangement with your instructor. Please make sure your microphone is muted and camera is off before clicking in to ensure you aren’t distracting from the moment.
