You can gift someone 1 to 2 months of our Acting Foundations course (a two month program) or a tuition credit gift amount.
All purchases are non-refundable.
Your recipient can redeem their Acting Foundations gift anytime before May 30th 2024.
General tuition gifts never expire.
All new or returning students will need to register themselves for our program via the website when they are ready to start their class.
- Students can register to begin anytime, enrollment is always open.
Acting Foundations gift purchases are non-transferrable.
General Tuition gifts can be used for any tuition, or workshop the student requests.
Recipient gets four classes in a month and there are no credits or refunds for missed classes.
- AZAA offers excellent make-up options during their enrollment.
A confirmation email will be sent to you with full information on redeeming their gift.
You can choose a personalized digital greeting card and email sent directly to the recipient on a date selected for $5.00.
- The date must give us two business days to design & compose the gift email.
- You will be cc’d in the email, if you’d rather be blind copied, please specify in additional info before submitting.

Purchasing a Holiday Sale Gift For Yourself:

New Students
If you purchase your Acting Foundations full program gift to redeem later – the above also applies to you.
You can also register for your class upon purchase of your gift to start in January or at a date/month of your choosing.
The class is for two months, eight consecutive weeks and there are no credits or refunds for missed classes.
- AZAA offers excellent make-up options during your enrollment.
You can opt in after one month to join ongoing enrollment and continue to enjoy your discount. Same billing terms as above apply to opting in.

Terms and Conditions of Gift

Policies for Purchasing The Gift:
• Payment will be required upon submission.
• All purchases are non-refundable.
• Your gift purchase will be a credit to future tuition in which the recipient of the gift can put toward registration at any time before May 30th, 2024
• Acting Foundations gifts of 1 or 2 months are non-transferable.
• Open Tuition Credits are transferable on any ongoing or specialty programming.

Location Protocols

We are open for live classes at Arizona Actors Academy. We will follow State & local guidelines.

We do not require masks to participate in our classes.

It will be up to you whether to wear a mask or not while attending classes and events.
The choice to wear a mask or not until our country reaches herd immunity is up to each individual.
No commenting on, shaming, deriding or judging of another’s choice to wear or not wear a mask will be tolerated.
Please help us hold in place, with integrity, this space for creative expression and personal risk taking by fostering acceptance and understanding of your peers personal choice in this matter.
Additionally we will operate at full capacity.
By taking part in our classes you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Do not participate in any classes if you are feeling sick from COVID or other. Help us keep our community healthy.
We have amazing Make-Up options for missed classes.
We highly recommend students get vaccinated, however, it is not mandated.

Policies & Waivers For New Students

Waiver of Liability:
As a participant in any program or class at Arizona Actors Academy/Theatre Upstairs (Hotchner Studios LLC), understand and agree that in participating in any acting/voice/movement class, workshop, rehearsal or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury or death. I recognize and acknowledge there are certain risks of physical injury, and I agree to assume the full risk of injuries, including death, damages or loss that I or my minor child may sustain as a result of participating in any activities connected with or associated with such program or class. I agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my minor child may have as a result of participating in any program or class against Arizona Actors Academy/Theatre Upstairs. (Hotchner Studios LLC) and its officers, agents, servants, employees and independent contractors. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Arizona Actors Academy/Theatre Upstairs (Hotchner Studios LLC) and it's officers, agents, servants, employees an independent contractors from my claims resulting from injuries including death, damages and losses sustained by me or my minor child that arise out of, in connection with, or in any way associated with the activities of this program.

Please check this waiver if you will permit use of you or your child's image as described below. If you do not check this waiver, we will not use you or your child's image. I understand that Arizona Actors Academy/Theatre Upstairs (Hotchner Sudios LLC) is a non-profit organization that promotes acting as an art form not only to it's students, but also to the community at large. As such, articles, brochures, videos and websites may be used either promotionally or educationally and may include images of Arizona Actors Academy/Theatre Upstairs (Hotchner Studios LLC) students or other participants in our programs. I hereby permit the use of my, or my daughter/son's image to be photographed, videotaped or otherwise recorded for the use in Arizona Actors Academy/Theatre Upstairs (Hotchner Studios LLC) publicity or educational materials. These materials include, but are not limited to, photographs of classes and performances, newsletters, various other school publications, Arizona Actors Academy/Theatre Upstairs (Hotchner Studios LLC) internet webpage and video of class/performances.

Terms & Conditions of Acting Foundations:

You are enrolling into our eight-week Acting Foundations. Make sure you read all of our Terms and Conditions regarding your enrollment so you understand fully what policies and potential penalties you are agreeing to.

REGISTRATION | ENROLLMENT

You are required to complete the form and signify your agreement to Payment Policies, Waiver of Liability and class Code of Conduct.
To purchase your Acting Foundations at the Holiday Sale price - you must pay in full.
Enrollment is eight consecutive weeks of our Acting Foundations course.
Tuition is $450.00 in total for the course, this purchase saves you $50.00.
If you fulfilled an audit class your $25.00 fee will be credited toward’s your sale price below.
All tuition paid is non-refundable.
All our communications are via email. It is important that you maintain contact.
- An active email address is necessary for you to receive communications and updates.
- Please notify us of any changes in contact information.

SINGLE MONTH CLASS GIFT

Your gift covers your first four weeks of Acting Foundations.
A second payment of $225.00 will be billed to you before your final four weeks of class.
Payment is required to complete the course.
You can redeem our $50 off Holiday Sale by committing and paying for the full program upon registration now.

REFUNDS & PRO-RATING TUITION

Tuition is not pro-rated, refunded or discounted for classes missed, or when dropping from a class.
Auditing, deposit & all tuition payments upon registration are non-refundable.
Missed classes can be redeemed via our Make-Up option.

INCLEMENT WEATHER OR INSTRUCTOR EMERGENCY

In the event of inclement weather or emergency, we will send email notifications if classes are cancelled.
Any cancelled classes will be offered a make-up class with ample time to adjust your schedule.
If you are unable to attend a make-up class, AZAA cannot refund the original class. Please make every effort to attend the make-up class.

Terms & Conditions of Improv For Actors:

You are enrolling into an ongoing class, tuition for this class will be billed monthly.

REGISTRATION | ENROLLMENT

Your additional tuition will be automatically billed via email on the 25th of each month for your review.
Payment is due by the 1st to continue your class enrollment. Late fees will apply.
We ask for a 30 day withdrawal notice from all ongoing program.
All changes must be made through the student form via our website.
Student who withdrawal within 30 days are subject to a 50% tuition penalty that will go on credit for return tuition.
New students will have a two month grace period with no penalty for late withdrawal.
When students Acting Foundations course is complete, Improv will default to their core class and tuition will be for single class price ($200.00 monthly).
