I will never tire of watching Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio’s characters scream at each other under the influence of quaaludes. They both appear to be moving and talking as if encased in a bowl of Jell-O.
What outrageous fun this must have been to film. As the caption says, Jonah Hill took a massive pay cut to appear in this movie, which is a crime given his equally enjoyable performance. However, I’d take a pay cut to scream and fight Leo in drug-induced slow motion.
A good solid reminder that acting is all about playing.
