Awesome scene from Inglorious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino’s “reimagined” WW2-era thriller from 2009.
Tarantino is known as a master of dialogue and this scene shows it. However, it also displays the acting chops of Christoph Waltz and Brad Pitt – as Aldo Raine’s whole speech about “Moonshine Liquor” is not in the original script.
True talent and writing ability meet in this scene, and the result is fireworks. Or explosions – I think that’s more fitting for this movie.
