Humanity has been given a vast and selfless gift.

The legendary Louvre Museum in Paris has digitized their entire curated collection. As of March 30th, 2021, it is available to be viewed online for free.

Coming to a digital device near you.

Many other institutions have already digitized their collections, so it may appear that the Louvre is behind the curve. However, their archives are massive, and their catalogue rigorously detailed, thus it took many more hours of work to complete the project.

Despite the immense amount of manpower required, the museum has chosen to share the plethora of precious objects free of charge. Chivalry, it seems, is not yet dead.
